band swings into action from 3:30 to 6:30 pm, and will feature
the vocals of Larisa Renee. Please join us to help
heat up the afternoon with your favorite big band jazz. The

Humane Society presents
a Big Band Dance with Swing Shift Big Band with vocals by Dave
Statham.
The dance will be held for the 9th year at the Royal Canadian Legion
Branch 43, 471 Simcoe St. S, Oshawa. Tickets are available from the
Humane Society Shelter, 199 Waterloo St, Oshawa; Pet Valu, 623 King
St. E, Oshawa; or by phoning the shelter at (905)433-2022.
All proceeds from this dance go to the animal shelter.

The Scarborough Civic Centre is pleased to present a Sunday afternoon
concert from 2-4 pm in the rotunda of the beautiful Scarborough
civic centre, with Swing Shift Big Band playing all of your favorite
listening and dance music. Bring your dancing shoes, because this
concert has a dance floor as well.
